Using with Chatbox

Configure TokenDNS in the Chatbox desktop app or web version. Chatbox supports both; this page uses the web version as an example.

Configuration steps

  1. Open the Chatbox website.
  2. Launch the web version.
  3. Click "Settings" in the bottom-left corner.
  4. Choose OpenAI as the model provider.
  5. In the API key and API host fields, enter the TokenDNS API key and API address.
  6. Click the fetch models button and select the Claude models you need.
  7. Save the settings.

Go back to the home screen, pick a model and start using it.

Using in Cursor IDE / VS Code

Install the Claude Code extension in Cursor IDE or VS Code and point it at TokenDNS through CC Switch.

Using with NextChat

Create a custom TokenDNS AI provider in NextChat. NextChat works as a desktop app or in the browser; this page uses the macOS app as an example.
