Using with NextChat

Create a custom TokenDNS AI provider in NextChat. NextChat works as a desktop app or in the browser; this page uses the macOS app as an example.

Download and install

  1. Open the NextChat website.
  2. Download the build for your operating system.
  3. Finish the installation, open the app and sign up.

Create a custom AI provider

  1. On the chat screen, click the model name in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Click "Custom AI provider" in the top-right corner.
  3. Click "Create".
  4. Name is up to you.
  5. Enter the TokenDNS API key and Base URL in their respective fields.
  6. Click "Save provider".
  7. On the model selection screen you can click Select all, then save.

Go back to the home screen and click the model selector in the bottom-right corner to use the models you just configured.

Using with Chatbox

Configure TokenDNS in the Chatbox desktop app or web version. Chatbox supports both; this page uses the web version as an example.

Using with Trae

Connect TokenDNS models in Trae using the OpenAI-compatible format.
