Using with Trae

Connect TokenDNS models in Trae using the OpenAI-compatible format.

Download and add a model

  1. Open the Trae website, download Trae and install it.
  2. Open Trae and sign up.
  3. Click "Avatar → Settings" in the bottom-left corner.
  4. Choose "Models → Add model → Custom model".
  5. Select OpenAI as the API format.
  6. Enter this custom request URL:
https://api.tokendns.net/v1
  1. Enter the model ID you want to use.
  2. Enter your TokenDNS API key.
  3. Click "Add model".

Verify

Go back to the home screen, select the model you just added and send a test message. If you get a reply, the configuration works. For the currently available model IDs, refer to the TokenDNS model list.

Using with NextChat

Create a custom TokenDNS AI provider in NextChat. NextChat works as a desktop app or in the browser; this page uses the macOS app as an example.

Using with OpenCode

Configure a TokenDNS OpenAI-compatible provider in OpenCode.
