Using in Cursor IDE / VS Code

Install the Claude Code extension in Cursor IDE or VS Code and point it at TokenDNS through CC Switch.

Install the Claude Code extension

  1. Start Cursor IDE or VS Code.
  2. Open Extensions.
  3. Search for Claude.
  4. Click Install.

Configure it with CC Switch

  1. Download and install CC Switch.
  2. Open CC Switch and select Claude Code at the top.
  3. Click "Add provider" on the right.
  4. The provider name is up to you.
  5. Fill in the TokenDNS API key and request URL.
  6. Click "Add", then go back to the home screen, select the provider and click "Enable".
  7. Restart Cursor IDE or VS Code so the configuration takes effect.

Handling the first-install confirmation

If you still see a sign-in or onboarding screen after opening the Claude Code extension:

  1. Open CC Switch.
  2. Go to "Settings → General".
  3. Turn on "Skip Claude Code first-install confirmation".
  4. Restart Cursor IDE or VS Code again.
